Eva graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the Catholic University of Leuven in June 2022. During her master, she specialized in the field of nutrition. She was already welcomed in the IBD research team as a master thesis student under supervision of Judith Wellens. After this educational year, she was happy to continue this research as a PhD student. Her research project focuses on the role of ultra-processed foods in the development and disease course of IBD.
